About the Event

Polish Heritage Day is an important celebration for the Polish community run under the patronage of the Polish Embassy in London. Every Year, during May there are many different events across the UK to promote Polish culture, history, tradition and food. And Polish contribution to the cultural, economic, and social life of the United Kingdom. Shropshire European Organisation organises this event in various towns to bring Polish Heritage closer to local residents.

This year, we invite you to Oswestry, a beautiful market town in North Shropshire. Please join us to listen about Polish pilots and their great part of British history. There will presented an exhibition, project created by Robert Gretzyngier, a historian and passionate man who wants to share his knowledge around. We will be serving light delicious Polish food and cakes of course
